A very handsome pair of Jane de Glehn portraits dated 1954 mounted in original matching frames.

Jane de Glehn 1873-1961 was an American artist who travelled widely within Europe and spent time with her Impressionist Husband in the UK, exhibiting at the RA during their marriage.  After his death, she resided in the US and became known for her portraiture.

This very handsome pair are signed and dated 1954 are absolutely indicative of the style of artwork popular in the 1950's.  They are a wonderful couple, a snapshot of social history, in fabulous condition.
