196.25cm Drapers Work Bench / Shop Counter / Kitchen Island

Dimensions: 196.25cm wide x 74cm deep x 78.5cm high.  Shelf height is 49cm.  The drawers measure 48cm wide x 36cm deep x 9cm high

This an outstanding piece.  It is made from solid wood and is heavy and as an old shop counter is suitable to use as a stand alone piece in the middle of a room, offering it up as a sideboard, work bench, kitchen island or as designed, as a shop counter. This fabulous Drapers Table was used in a fabric shop to lay out the fabric ahead of measuring and cutting and the middle drawer still has the beautiful bowls in which the cash pieces were stored.  With wonderful solid and beautifully turned legs.  Solid and strong.  A fabulous find.
