220cm Solid Oak Monastery Dining Table

Dimensions:  220cm long x 74.5cm wide x 75cm high.  Floor to the underside of the table is 68.5cm high.  Distance between legs on longest edge 137.5cm

An absolutely incredible dining table, the top is make from one single piece of solid oak with a depth of one inch thickness.  The base is also solid and heavy and made from the same piece of wood.  It will seat upto 8 using standard sized chairs..  more if you use benches.  Unusually for an old table, this table top can be taken off so it is easier to get it through smaller access to  a dining space.. also it is easier to transport as both the top and the base are so heavy in their own right.  Accessories and chairs not included, just shown for styling ideas.. contact me if you would like to know our availability for seating.

I want to drawer your attention to a few of the photograph's.  You will see on the underside of the table top, along one side an area of slightly lighter coloured wood.  This wood is a little softer that the surrounding darker wood and as such, there is a little softening to these small patches.  This does not effect the table's function in any way.  As you can see from the birds eye shots, the table top is strong and sturdy and unaffected.  The dark areas of wood making up the bulk of the table's construction are solid heavy and hard and so this table has another 100 plus years of heavy wear let in it.  It is just an aesthetic issue and we have priced accordingly.
