1930's Tolix Grey Metal High Stools

A lovely pair of 1930's Tolix metal high stools.  These have, as you can see, had superficial rusting to the metal which adds this wonderful copper colouring to the stools.  The rust is not in the structure, it is simply superficial... in our view adding to its character.  The stools have a clear varnish over to protect the metal further.  A fabulous pair of very practical stools.. in fact we have this style in our own kitchen, where we sit as a family at our kitchen island.  Hugely practical as they can be wiped down so easily, but also a bit of a design classic.
