250cm Solid Pine Trestle Dining Table

Dimensions:  250 cm wide x 79cm deep x 78cm high.  The distance between the legs along the longest side of the table is 205cm and the floor to underside height is 67.5cm

A very handsome and eye catching Mid Century trestle table that is strong and sturdy enough to be considered for use as a dining table.  Strong and held firmly in place by these metal hinges, this table is made from solid pine and would have been used in a vineyard as a temporary eating solution for the seasonal workers around grape harvesting time.  Heavy and solid this can be folded flat for storage.  Ideal for use in the garden during summer months, as extra table space during festive periods throughout the year or as your permanent dining table.  A wonderful couple of details to drawer to your attention.  The table top has been reinforced at the ends with this wonderful metal 'wave' embedded to hold the slats strong, but with flexibility.  The other detail is the Chateau initials branded into the top right hand side of the table.  Chateau S....x  (I wonder which letters fill the gap).

The table is in excellent condition.  Please keep applying clear wax to this table to nourish, protect and feed the wood.
