A very practical and versatile set of drawers, which have been removed from a decommissioned hardware store.  The piece is a good height for working at and so would make the most ideal kitchen storage for plates, glasses, pans, crockery, cutlery etc. It would also be absolutely stunning as a storage in a hallway or boot room (we have one in our own home housing shoes, bags, hats and gloves.. no excuses for not putting things away!).  In a lobby of a commercial premises, in a dining room or sitting room this piece would absolutely make a statement and would be the talking point of your scheme.  Marry with some simple art or pottery to create a modern, textured focal point.

The solid pine wood has lots of signs of wear, is rustic but has been treated and is solid, sturdy and heavy!  The drawers run as well as you would expect and the drawer handles are all old, perhaps not all original but it has been sympathetically renovated and overall in keeping with its age and use.
