An absolutely fabulous and totally unique shop counter.  Possibly used by a Maitre D' in a restaurant, a hotel or a bar.  Possibly from a small shop.  This counter has oak panelling on three sides and an open cubby hole and drawer on one side.  This would suit a small shop as a counter or work in a restaurant, hotel or bar.  Equally it would make the most perfect kitchen island adding texture and form to a simple backdrop.  The solid oak wood is in very good condition considering its use and age.  You will see watermarks and marks and dents in the wood but nothing that you would not expect of a piece of this age.
