We love this sofa.  Dating from the turn of last century, the typical 'Crapaud' style is usually found in armchair form, but rarely sofa form and even more rarely, with its original cotton velvet upholstery.  The front legs are carved walnut wood and the back are splayed.. traditional for this style of chair.  With the usual bumps, bruises and wear, this sofa is comfortable, sturdy, has unexpectedly fabulous lumber support and a wonderful addition to a bedroom, a sitting room or hallway.
