A very honest and simple example of this Circa. 1940's gueridon, side table.. rather than the highly varnished examples more commonly found.  Unusually it has an octagonal table top, married with four simple straight legs.  Sturdy and ready to use as is... with a modern sofa (neutral or coloured scheme)  or as a bedside table.
