Mechanic's Workshop Plan Chest Sideboard Drawers

Dimensions:  199cm wide x 49cm deep x 101.5cm high.  Drawers are:  59cm wide x 46cm deep x 9cm high.  Cubby Holes measure:  63cm wide x 49.5cm deep x 26cm high and 16cm high.

This piece is a rustic and honest sideboard storage.  Taken from a Mechanic's Workshop, you can still see evidence of the oil that has infused into the top and the layers of paint that once covered the piece.

This is not a high end piece, it is rough to the touch, but it is full of character and is a practical piece of furniture.  The wood is absolutely raw, selected for construction based simply on what would have been available at the time hence the colour variation and it would have been created this way so paint would unify the look.  This can be recreated with your own paint choice, or left as it is in all its raw beauty.

The drawers would have help the technical plans for the parts of the machinery and there would have been devices bolted onto the top.

This is a hugely practical and eye catching piece.  It would make the most wonderful sideboard or storage for a workshop, craft room or office.
