When imperfect is perfect.  This simply beautiful 19th century wooden chest of drawers, has many bashes and scrapes but is beautiful despite its wear.  The wood is walnut wood, there is evidence of ancient wood worm, but it has long gone and as a matter of course, we treat our pieces regardless.

As it is this chest of drawers is beautiful, practical and the patina to the wood is simply stunning.  The brass handles are all original, you can see that one is missing its washer, but this is a very beautiful and might I say, perfect piece, because of, not despite its imperfections.
