1920's Reclining Sunburst Morris Chair with Footstool

Dimensions:  63.5cm wide x 76cm deep x 99cm high as a chair.  With the footstool extended the seat measures an extra 60cm long.  The seat depth is 51cm, seat height 40cm seat width 53cm.

A very beautiful and unique sunburst reclining Morris Chair with a retractable footstool that stores underneath the seat.  The reclining devise is a wooden bar that secures the back rest on metal holders.  A very simple yet effective design.  The footstool tucks with ease underneath the seat chair.  The structure of the chair is sound and solid.  There are ancient wood worm holes which have long been abandoned, but we have treated the holes just to be sure.  The fabric is a 1920's original cotton velvet checked brown.  Ideal to use as it is if that is your preference.
