19th Century Bureau Desk with Bookcase Display Cabinet

Dimensions:  65cm wide x 40cm deep x 185cm high.  The shelves measure 52cm wide x 13.5cm deep x 26cm, 24cm and 30cm high.  The desk measures57cm wide x 42cm deep x 68cm high from the floor.  The small drawers measure 25cm wide x 12cm deep x 5cm high.  The larger drawers measure 54cm wide x 33cm deep x 12.5cm high.

A very pretty bureau with folding down writing table, drawers and this pretty book case/display case.dating from the 19th century.  The wood is in really good used condition.  Not perfect, but well loved and used.

This bureau is so delicate and pretty.  It would serve as a beautiful decorative addition to a room, also practical to use as a desk, as intended, with useful storage in the form of small and larger drawers.  A very pretty piece.  Ideal in an alcove, or even between windows due to its delicate proportions and narrow depth.  Constructed in two parts for easy movement in small spaces.  In good used condition.  Ready to use as it is.
