Antique School Pine Four Door Cupboard

Dimensions:  209.25cm wide, 50cm deep x 149cm high.  Shelves are 96cm wide x 38cm deep and have 4cm interval for the heigh position.

Made from solid pine, this sturdy cupboard is immensely practical for so many rooms both residential and commercial.  Ideal for use in a kitchen, work room to store work materials, in a bathroom, playroom, hallway.  A stunning piece that can be, if necessary, painted to match your scheme.  As you can see from the photographs there is evidence of previous finishes, damage and marks.  Not for the person who wants perfect, but for the person who likes a fabulous characterful piece.  The current finish on the vintage pine is a clear wax to protect and nourish the wood.  This was probably in a school storing supplies in a classroom or laboratory.

We have 6 shelves for this piece but over time 2 of the batons that hold the shelves in place have gone rogue, but these can easily be crafted by someone handy.  The shelves are solid and strong and will take good weights.  The cupboard doors sometimes stick, but it is just a question of getting the heave correct and they swing open easily.  I only say this to give you full disclosure of a beautiful piece, that has its own characteristics.
