Two Piece Carved Asian Linen Press Style Two Part Dresser Cupboard

Dimensions:  120cm wide (at the top) 125cm (at the bottom) x 51cm deep x 197cm high.  The shelves in the top measure 106cm wide x 34cm deep x 27cm, 26cm plus 35cm high.  The base shelves measure 115cm wide x 42cm deep x 27cm high, 25cm and 25.5cm high.

An incredible cupboard.  This is a carved hardwood dresser style cupboard.  The style of carving is Asian.  The piece comes in two parts.  Both the top and the base have two opening cupboard doors opening onto shelves that pull out.. in the style of a traditional linen press.  The shelves are a little sticky but to run.  There are areas of damage where parts of the decorative elements have been lost, and there are bases and bruises along the base, as well as evidence of repairs along the way.  I have seen these selling for alot more than we are listing for, but we know this needs specialist renovation to bring it back to top condition.  Having said that however, for me, I would be using this exactly as it is.. for me the bases and bruises give it so much character.
