1900's Reclining Wicker Steamer Chair with Hidden Ottoman

Dimensions: 70cm wide x 83cm (chair) deep x 83cm high.  The overall length with the ottoman is 143cm long.  Seat height 42cm seat depth 50cm.

In well loved and used wicker Steamer consisting of a reclining chair and ottoman, is in the style of Dr Pascaud's 'Le Surrepos'.  Dr. Pascaud went on to make in the 1920's his first mechanized reclining chair also named 'Le Surrepos' meaning 'Super Relaxing'.  The footstool detaches and can be discreetly stored underneath the seat of the chair and the reclining feature on the back allows easy positioning of the back.  Wear and tear as you would expect for the use and age, but all structurally sound and ready to use for many more decades to come.
