This would be a fabulous addition to may rooms.  Oodles of storage within the 18 drawers of this characterful piece.  Not too deep, so this doesnt take too much floor space.  The drawers are all different, some are divided, some are not.  The wood I believe is oak.  It has a wonderful texture to it.. smooth and tactile and the original metal handles are still intact and fully working.  The top has a cork like finish, and is in good condition too.  The drawers all run smoothly.

We have something similar in our own sitting room.  We have dressed the top with pictures, statues and books and we store masses of daily items inside.
