French Larch Marriage Chest From 17th - 18th Century

 Dimensions: 123cm wide x 61cm deep x 77.5cm high.  Internal measurements 56cm deep x 107.5cm wide x 43.5 across.

This stunning marriage chest was made from two locally grown woods.  The structure is predominantly Larch, which is an incredibly strong and hardwearing wood used in chalet construction in the Alps.  This is basic, bold and beautiful and would make a wonderful statement in an entrance hall or on a landing.

There is a small amount of evidence on the inside of the chest only, of ancient woodworm which has long ago left.  We do as a matter of course treat our wooden items against woodworm for good measure.

Our listed price INCLUDES delivery within mainland UK.  If you would like instead to pick up your purchase from our Milton Keynes Showroom, we would be delighted to offer you a reduction in the price to £1545.00.  Contact me on for more information.
