285cm Solid Pine Trestle Dining Table

Dimensions:  285cm wide x 100cm deep x 68.5cm high.

A very handsome and eye catching trestle table that is strong and sturdy enough to be considered for use as a dining table.  This table is made from solid pitch pine from recycled wood.  The wooden elements are really heavy.  The table top itself takes three of us to carry it and I can just about manage to walk with one of the leg supports in either hand.  You can see that the wood once had worms but these have long ago left.  Their borrows are all that remain.   This would have been used in a vineyard as a temporary eating solution for the seasonal workers around grape harvesting time.  We have placed three bentwood bistro chairs along each side and two on each end seating upto 10.

The table is in excellent condition.  Would be ideal for use as a rustic dining table, inside or out, or in a barn type entertaining space or even as a desk or work bench.  Please keep applying clear wax to this table to nourish, protect and feed the wood.
