You have to see past the discussing 1980's cover to imagine the beautiful lying within.  Dating from the turn of last century, the typical 'Crapaud' style is usually found in armchair form, but rarely sofa form.  The front legs are carved walnut wood and the back are splayed.. traditional for this style of chair.  With the usual bumps, bruises and wear, this sofa is comfortable, sturdy, has unexpectedly fabulous lumber support and a wonderful addition to a bedroom, a sitting room or hallway.  For reupholstery and priced accordingly.
