Napoleon III Canape Sofa to Reupholster

Dimensions: 136cm wide x 86cm high x approx 85cm overall depth.  Seat height 38cm x 56cm deep.

Dating from the turn of last century, the typical 'Crapaud' style is usually found in armchair form, but rarely sofa form.  The front legs are carved walnut wood and the back are splayed.. traditional for this style of chair.  With the usual bumps, bruises and wear, this sofa is comfortable, sturdy, has unexpectedly fabulous lumber support and a wonderful addition to a bedroom, a sitting room or hallway.  We have saved the wadding as far as we can as it is well upholstered and in good condition.  Just needs a new cover.
