Napoleon III Canape Sofa to Reupholster With Ebonised Turned Legs

Dimensions: 148cm wide x 87cm high x approx 85.5cm overall depth.  Seat height 38cm x 57cm deep.

Dating from the turn of last century, the typical 'Crapaud' style is usually found in armchair form, but rarely sofa form.  The front legs are ebonised turned pear wood and the back are splayed.. traditional for this style of chair.  With the usual bumps, bruises and wear, this sofa is comfortable, sturdy, has unexpectedly fabulous lumber support and a wonderful addition to a bedroom, a sitting room or hallway.  This example is an unusually larger size, fitting 3 people easily.  This must be re-upholsterd.  We have priced accordingly.
