What a find this day bed is.  Walnut wood, original sage green satin upholstery and 2 matching bolster cushions, in wonderful condition.. ready to use.  Overall in good condition, the wood has marks, splits etc but all commensurate with age and use and not affecting the function or aesthetic of the piece.  There is definitely a preferred facing side, the wood on the reverse is not as refined as the front side, so there is definitely a front and back to this piece.  This came from a small chateaux in the South of France.  Rare and beautiful.  Perfect for an alcove, a recess, the end of a bed, a hallway or a sitting room.
