Pair of Reclining Morris Chairs to Reupholster

Dimensions:  70cm wide x 105-122cm deep overall height 86cm. Seat is 42cm high x 58cm wide.

A hard to find matching pair of reclining Morris Chairs.  Designed by William Morris's Factory, this style dates from the Arts and Crafts era.  The design of the reclining mechanism is simple and brilliant.  Grooves at the back of the arm house a simple wooden baton to hold the reclined position of the back.  Fabulous.  This pair is is good overall working order.  Structurally sound and only in need of your choice of fabric to upholster the original cushions.  The seat bases are sprung and comfortable and a fabulous find.
