Rustic Apothecary Sideboard Storage 36 Drawers

A rustic but fabulous sideboard which has come from a pharmacy and would have stored boxes of product.  Originally painted then revarnished and painted again, this unit has been stripped back to the original wood.  The drawers and carcass has been made from a pine and the front, into which the drawers sit has been made from a harder wood.  I love this mixture of woods and it is an illustration of days gone by when the materials available were the materials of choice.

The drawers have the original cup handles and there is wear and tear as you would expect commensurate with age and use.  What I love about these pieces is not only do they have visual impact but they also store so much in a small footprint.  The drawers are a really useful size to store kitchen items, shoes, clothing, product in a shop, materials in a workshop.  The list is endless.

In a ready to use condition or you can paint or varnish to suit your space.
