Weather Worn Oval Marble Bistro Table

Dimensions:  109cm wide x 60cm deep x 71cm high

A classic and traditional French marble topped cast iron base bistro table which has been left in the garden and the markings on the top of the marble tell a story of use and wear.  The dark colour and muted texture of the marble shows that it has been under foliage which has left marks and rainwater has worn the shine from the surface.  There are deep marks.. one in the shape of the bottom of a jar may suggest a spiled liquid that has pooled around its recepticle and worn away at the surface of the marble.  For us these details, this wear makes this the most wonderfully characterful table.  If you want fresh and new this is not the piece for you.  If you love worn and of stories told on the surface.. this is yours!!  The base is strong and solid.  As with most of this style of table, the marble sits square onto the base and is heavy and stable.  Perfect as a kitchen table, a hallway table, or even for use in the garden.
