Folding Low Cane Rocking Chair

Dimensions: 42 cm wide x 70cm deep x 81cm high.  Seat height at the back of the base 34cm

A very extraordinary carved, foldable, wooden rocking chair with a low seat.  I feel this must have come from the east somewhere simply because of the design and the style, but I sourced this fabulous chair from France.. so perhaps originally from a French colony.

The seat sits low the the ground and the rockers allow the slight motion when seated.  This piece looks really fabulous and I can see it in a very neutral home.  In excellent ready to use condition, with the bashes and bruises you would expect for the age and use.
