215cm Black Rustic Drapers Work Bench Style Console Table Kitchen Island

Dimensions: 215cm wide x 55.5cm deep x 92cm high.  The height of the shelf is 63cm.  The drawers measure x 2 34cm wide x 43cm deep x 8cm high and one drawer measures 20cm wide x 33cm deep x 8cm high

I absolutely love this piece.  This fabulous console table made in the style of a classic Drapers Table which was used in a fabric shop to lay out the fabric ahead of measuring and cutting and the bolts of cloth were stored on the shelf underneath.

This example has been fashioned by our wonderful French cabinet maker who was taught his trade by his Father.  The table has been made using authentic methods and with antique wood and components from old pieces of furniture.  The wood has been treated with this rustic black painted finish which we absolutely love and has beautiful brass drawer furniture.  The colour can easily be changed if you prefer.

A wonderful sideboard, console table size kitchen island or behind a tall sofa.
