Haute Savoie Hand Decorated Grandfather Clock

An incredible clock.  From the Haute Savoie region of France.  Hand made, hand painted.  In rustic and very well used condition, the case has signs of wood worm and wood rot, all of which has been treated over the years.  The metal work of the mechanisms are in lovely condition.. all very well used and with the usual bashes as you would expect.  The clock did work when in the home of the last family who owned the clock for the last 20 years, but it has been in storage for some years now, so we are selling as a decorative piece and if you want the clock to work and chime we would recommend that you have the piece renovated by a specialist.

This would be perfect in a kitchen, playroom, hallway.
