Napoleon III Ebonsied Tapestry Deck Chair

Dimensions:  55cm wide x 101cm high x 69cm deep

I am thrilled that we have this beautiful and unique deckchair available for you.  This is a Napoleon III Ebonised pear wood tapestry deck chair.  The decorative gold detailing is worn as is the black paint where the hands have been rubbing the arms.  The tapestry is constructed with these beautiful rich colours and is worn in places.  The deckchair folds flat for storage.  I cant even imagine when this would have been used in the past.. would it have been taken on walks or trips?  Would it have been housed in an orangery or terrace.  I don't know but I love this chair!  Condition is in good vintage condition.  Marks and bruises in line with use and age.
